Business Profile

Born in Leicester, I gained a fine art Degree and teaching qualification at Manchester Polytechnic. Followed by teaching for several years in the Manchester area.

I have exhibited with the Royal Academy, Manchester Academy and other Manchester Galleries. At present I exhibit in Galleries in the North and south Lakes, Kirkby Lonsdale and other venues, whilst also illustrating for advertising agencies and architects as a freelance artist.

Now living in Kendal, I work from home, and as a member of Green Door Studios group, my studio is open in Art Trails. My main field of interest remains painting, but I am very interested in exploring the printing process, especially collographs, and also in ceramics and embroidery.
