"“Lovely Valentine's Meal”"

"We had a very pleasant evening in this village pub restaurant which offered three courses and a bottle of Prosecco for £20 a head. The food was very good and the waitress was friendly. Very welcoming ambience and there was live music in the pub later on. The ordinary menu also looked worth trying for low priced, good value eating."

"“Great pub food!”"

"We came across Station hotel on The Bay vouchers and decided to give it a go. For a £15 voucher for a £30 spend on food (not including drinks) we each had 3 courses of delicious fresh food, with big portions. It was presented more restaurant style than pub. Service was also great with nothing being too much trouble. We will definitely be back and would happily have spent the full price on it all."

"“Whatever you want.. The answer is YES.”"

"Some lovely traditional pub fayre... And some nice additions bound to tempt you try them. Everything cooked perfectly and served hot. Everything prepared from scratch.... Not a single item is processed or frozen.

The bar is spacious and inviting, the staff were very keen to say hello and help.

On our first night we asked if a cheeseboard was available.. Anthony said that on our return the following evening... There would be a surprise for us. Only the biggest selection of cheeses we've ever seen, spread accross no less than three 18 inch wooden boards, plus stuffed olives, peppers, chill is and biscuits.

Wow, Anthony! You've won a lot of hearts (and stomachs) this weekend. We will definitely be back."
