At Bay Vets more than 95% of all clinical work is performed in-house. We have almost every facility needed to treat your pet at our Lancaster surgery.
Our Lancaster surgery stands proudly in the centre of Lancaster. It is a large neo-classical stone-built building that was built in the mid-Victorian era for a member of the Cadbury family.
A wonderful feature of our impressive building is its grounds. With extensive lawns and flower beds that we take great pride in maintaining, our veterinary surgeons often use the space as an additional examination area in the warmer months.
As well as being able to watch animals run, stretch out and play in the great outdoors, our grounds also enable us to hold our much anticipated annual garden parties. We invite all of our clients, their family, friends and anyone else that wishes to attend. They can then enjoy a day full of activities, animal demonstrations, refreshments and much more.
At the beginning of 2012 we felt that our practice needed to be freshened up. We redesigned and rebuilt a brand new spacious operating suite that enables us to take on all small animal surgical procedures.
As well as updating our operating suite, we also gave our kennels a facelift. Today we have an extensive area dedicated to dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries; whether they are sick, injured or recovering from surgery. Our clean, warm and comfortable area provides pets with the perfect place to relax when they need it most.
Our Lancaster practice has an orthopaedic operating area reserved specifically for orthopaedic cases. Using some of the most advanced veterinary equipment available, this suite enables us to deliver first class care to animals with bone and joint conditions, as well as take on referrals from outside practices.
In 2009 our expert approach to animal care was recognised by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and our Lancaster branch was accredited Tier 2 RCVS status.
